Super foods, green smoothies, kale in EVERYTHING are all a part of the millennial let’s get healthy and take gym-selfies lifestyle. But have you ever taken the time to find out what exactly is so healthy about kale? It by no means has a great taste, and if you try to say it does you are lying to yourself. It is however good FOR you as it is an excellent source of vitamin K, vitamin C, vitamin A, manganese, and copper; a very good source of vitamin B6, fiber, calcium, potassium, vitamin E, and vitamin B2; and a good source of iron, magnesium vitamin B1, omega-3 fats, phosphorus, protein, folate, and vitamin B3.

Basically kale is very high in nutrients and very low in calories, making it one of the most nutrient dense foods on the planet.
