Heartbreaking, absolutely heartbreaking as stories arose following an attack at an Ariana Grande concert last night during her Manchester stop of her Danger Woman Tour.
According to The Mirror:
“There are unconfirmed reports that people have suffered “shrapnel type injuries” in the incident at the 21,000-capacity arena tonight – as local hospitals reported they were expecting “mass casualties.”
If it is confirmed as a terror attack it will be the deadliest on UK soil since the 7/7 attacks in 2005.”
An image for a “Pray For Manchester” Ariana ribbon has begun circulating; I was at the Toronto stop in March for the DWT, the majority of attendees were children and it it sickening to think that anyone would want to do this, let alone to children. Sources has confirmed at least 19 deaths at this point. Manchester stood together last night as residents opened their homes to stranded families and children , taxi drivers offered free rides, and the Holiday Inn held 200+ parentless children. While the motive for the attack has yet to be determined Twitter is speculating that a 23yr old has been arrested in suspicion.
It goes without saying, but I’m going to say it anyway, but my heart is with Manchester, the affected families, Ariana Grande and everyone involved in The Dangerous Woman Tour.
