I would be lying if I said I wasn’t enticed by the drama that is MTV UK’s Ex On the Beach. When I was informed there would be a US version I was ready for the T E A. The American version introduced us to this week’s feature Victoria Alario. And although this show was a test of love my favourite connection was her and Angela. I sat down to talk to the fellow blonde about reality TV, fashion, and The Challenge in all new interview.
My personal fashion icon is Hailey Baldwin! I absolutely love her and her style, but for most of my daily inspiration I go to fashion bloggers on instagram. 2. Had you previously seen the UK version of EOTB prior to being cast on the US version?
I had not seen the UK version of EOTB, I still haven’t seen it!
3. What would you say is your ‘theme song’?
4. Since today is #TMITuesday can you tell the fans something they may not already know about you?
Something they may not know about me – I can sing! Not well at all, but I can sing! Hahaha just kidding around – umm, I’m actually really passionate about learning about law/forensics and all that good stuff. I initially went to college for Pre-Law and planned on going to law school and becoming the best young female lawyer in NY but that changed quickly! I do plan on still going to law school down the road because I love school and especially want to eventually do something in the field, just not sure where.
5. Fashion trends come and go and while some are better than others what is your favourite trend of 2018 thus far?
My favorite fashion trend of 2018 has to be matching sets! Everyone’s rocking them but I truly love them. You don’t look at someone and say “ugh, another matching set” the way you would with most trends that become oversaturated and tiresome.
6. I truly believe everyone has a celebrity crush, whos yours?
Believe it or not, I really don’t have much of a celerity crush. I hardly follow any celebs on instagram or keep up with their daily lives, there’s no one that I’m really into these days like I used to be during the Jonas Brothers era and could tell you every single time they went to Pinkberry or Chick-Fil-A. I’d say the most attractive celebrity out there right now is Michael B. Jordan – he’s so good looking!
7. This latest season of The Challenge features EOTB cast members, would you ever consider accepting an offer to be on the show? Who do you think your ‘vendetta’ would be?
I get asked this all the time, and speaking for right now I don’t think I would do the challenge. It would have to depend on where my life is at during that time, and if it’s the right time for the opportunity, then for sure I would never pass it up. I just have so much going on and so much to look forward to that it doesn’t really fit into my foreseeable future at this time.
And most importantly, I have no desire in getting casted for something over having a vendetta or rival. The people I do not associate myself with anymore are not a part of my life nor do I have any desire to ever interact with them again, so if I had to film a show over having a vendetta, it just isn’t for me! I know it makes for good TV, but if I wouldn’t interact with you in real life then I wouldn’t for cameras either!
8. Do you keep in touch with anyone from the cast of EOTB?
I talk to Angela literally every single day of my life. We’ve never gone without talking except for while she was away filming the challenge, which I sent her videos every single day telling her everything going on the way I would if she were home, so even then I was still talking to her hahaha! I am friends with and love some others as well, and keep in touch with them as much as possible, but we all just live far apart and are on completely different schedules. Angela and I live 20 minutes apart so it works out.
9. How has your life changed since the show?
My life has changed in many ways. Not too much has changed, I’m the same old me! But I changed my lifestyle around in terms of jobs; I now work entirely for myself and became the entrepreneur I always wanted to be but didn’t have the balls to go for.
I get recognized literally everywhere I go, and sometimes have to take photos with fans in places that I really don’t plan to take photos in! It’s extremely funny, but it’s cool. The show really was huge, so it brought me a lot of new opportunities and exposure.
10. What’s next for you Victoria?
For now and coming up, you can find me doing what I love: traveling and fashion blogging. I have a ton of trips planned so I’ll get to experience a bunch of new places and make brand relationships in the meantime. I have nothing but amazing things to come, so you’ll have to stick along for the ride to keep watching!
You can watch Victoria and bff Angela on MTV.com on Ex On The Beach US now! And stay tuned next week for a brand new #TMITuesday interview!
