This week’s feature blesses our screens with makeup tutorials and will soon bless our screens on MTV’s Ex On The Beach: Peak Of Love. I sat down (cross-legged because I’m just like, so chill) to ask La Demi Lavigne

1. What is your current favorite makeup trend?

Currently, I have been obsessed with drawing my eyebrows to look like they are flying with the wind, it really emphasis on giving a cat-eye look and gives more lid space to blend out eyeshadows. When I say “flying with the wind” think Bella Hadid, Kendall Jenner try to do!

2. There are a ton of Youtubers who have released their own cosmetic lines including Nikita Dragun, Bretman Rock, and most recently Shane Dawson’s collab with Jeffree Star. What would we find in your line in terms of collabs (companies or fellow Youtubers/MUA), colors, and products?

I think it’s so empowering to see YouTubers and social media influencers releasing products because it really shows kids that anything is possible if you put in the dedicated work. Along the lines of my collaborations, I have only done a lip gloss collab with Steve Laurent Beauty back in 2016. If I was to collaborate again, I would probably choose to do a palette based on nudes and neutrals… but with whom…. I think I’ll keep that a secret 😉 !

. How has reality TV changed your life?

Reality TV has opened up many doors for exposure and getting my story out there. Not a day goes by that I don’t count my blessings. I think my career really kicked off when Kim Kardashian scouted me to be on her produced show, Glam Masters!

I still pinch myself at times. I really stick to what I always say, I didn’t get to grow up watching a trans individual kill it on reality TV and push for their dreams. So if I can be that example for youth and still stay true to myself, I’ll keep it moving!

4. Were you a fan of Ex On The Beach prior to participating?

You know what, I never watched it till AFTER filming my season! I honestly had no idea what I was getting myself into and production kept calling it an “Untitled Winter Dating Show”… not till a few days into filming did they expose it was a spin-off of ex on the beach, “Peak Of Love”!

5. Since today is #TMITuesday can you tell the readers something about you that they may not already know?

Something you don’t know about me, hmmm I feel like my whole life story is online but what most people don’t know is that I skipped a grade level in high school to graduate early and pursue college/dreams in Los Angeles. I worked as a receptionist after school (I was 15) at a nail salon in Texas to pay for special night classes and online classes to gain extra credits. I was crazy, but I ended up graduating in 3 years!

6. I’ll admit my basic b*tch ways and tell the world I adore David Dobrick and the vlog squad. Are there any fellow vloggers you love?

His content is really amazing, I’ve seen a few videos and it makes me feel like my shit is pretty basic! I love watching Tana Mongeau or however you spell it, she keeps it 100 and reminds me a lot of myself!

7. What would you say is your ‘theme song’?

My theme song is 100% Ordinary Girl – Hannah Montana !!!

8. So far, what has been the highlight of your career?

I think the highlight of my career was being called backstage after I was eliminated on Glam Masters (2017). Laverne Cox, Kandee Johnson, Mario Dedivanovic, and Zanna Rassi all kind of gave me a pep talk about not giving up. They talked about how in life some doors close and there’s another door right around the corner waiting for me to open. Lavern told me that she believed that the show was not my calling and that I had a whole lot more charisma and stardom waiting for me on another production. It was just a turning point in my career and not everyone gets to have one on one-time pep talks with icons like them!

Ex On The Beach: Peak Of Love Premieres Dec 5th on MTV

9. Speaking of the vlog squad Zane Hijazi is my current celebrity crush but who is yours?

Oh man, Channing Tatum all the way.

10. What’s next for you La Demi?

You know, I hate this question because it is always the hardest. I hate planning something and then it not going as planned. I am really big on manifesting and believing that what you put out into the universe is what eventually comes back. I love living in the moment and soaking up all the glory that’s happening in the NOW.
I used to spend so much time invested in what is next, that I never really took in the amazing moments and accomplishments I was living through.
I’ll just say thing are going smooth, and there is a lot of things in the works. I’m always going to be a work in progress till I die, and I am never going to stop believing in myself! Period.

Keep up with La Demi on Youtube and be watch Ex On The Beach Peak Of Love starting Dec 5th 2019.
