With more than 16 MILLION subscribers on TikTok this Canadian funny-girl made her mark with ‘tiny hands’, original characters and hilarious lip-syncs. I grabbed my tiny hands and began to ask Kris Collins about her newfound career as a creator and her plans for the next few years in the first 2021 #TMITuesday!
- Do you recall your first viral TikTok?
I believe my first viral TikTok was a short sketch about how my Dad has always been overprotective and wards off any guy that comes near me - Where do you see yourself in the next two years re: your career/life?
I never thought it would be possible, but I would love to try out TV/Movie acting in the next couple of years. Also would love to be moved out of my parent’s basement suite!
- Since today is #TMITuesday can you tell the readers something about you that they may not already know?
I’m a pretty open book online, but I guess I don’t share my artistic side as much. I really enjoy landscape and abstract painting in my free time. - If you could choose one song to be your ‘theme song’ what would it be and why?
“Break Free” by Queen. The song is about women’s liberation, and I feel like by being a female comedian in a male dominant industry, the song would be a perfect fit for me and my journey.
5. What do you think is the most important ingredient for a good TikTok post?
I think the most important “ingredient” for a good TikTok post is reliability.
6. How has your life changed since you began your career as a creator?
My life has changed in so many ways. Not even nine months ago I was jobless and in a really bad place mentally. Now I have a full-time job doing something I never thought would have been possible. I get to make people smile every day and I have the platform and opportunity to speak about mental health and other topics I hold very dear to my heart.
7. Who is your celebrity crush?
Henry Cavill.
8. Which Hogwarts house would you be in?
I am a Slytherin through and through!

9.Who would win in a fight: Chad or Russian mom?
100% Katrina (Russian Mom), Chad wouldn’t stand a chance.
10.What’s next for you Kris?
I am honestly not too sure yet! I’m on several different platforms including Tiktok, Instagram, Youtube, and Twitch. So I would love to try and expand those platforms more, and then possibly try to dip my toe into acting in the future!
