Ghostface is back, Kirby Reed is back, and Gale is still alive. The smash horror franchise is taking a vacation from Woodsboro to New York City (“you can just say New York” -Sterling Archer) with some familiar faces, and I’m not just talking about the iconic mask.
The family love is real with Jenna Ortega (Wednesday) returning as Tara Carpenter; Melissa Barrera as Sam Carpenter, Tara’s older half-sister; and Jasmin Savoy Brown (Yellowjackets) and Mason Gooding (Love, Victor) as twin siblings Mindy and Chad Meeks-Martin (niece and nephew of Randy Meeks of the first two films). Courtney Cox and Hayden Panettiere return as Gale Weathers and Kirby Reed, while franchise newcomers Samara Weaving, Dermot Mulroney, and Tony Revolori join in on the terror and higher phone bills.

You can expect to see some Billy Loomis, but no Sidney Prescott. As well as some new weapons used by the killer (killers? there are always two of those bastards), a terrible wig for Kirby Reed, and me seated and ready for this new installment.
