I thought I would veer away from cheesy 70s-90s films this week, and take on a classic from 1956. Sci-fi fangirls/fanboys should all have this in their collection. I think the first time that I saw this film I was about 15. This week’s pick is Earth vs. the Flying Saucers.
SINopsis
Outer world beings with, for the time, incredibly sophisticated, and high tech flying saucers contact a local scientist with plans to enslave the entirety of the human race.
Review
This film is a classic, and the casting of 1920’s superstar Joan Taylor makes it even better. It makes for a great weekend afternoon flick, or marathon it with some other sci-fi titles. Maybe go in order of year of release?
Rating
7 flying saucers out of 10
