I’m lucky enough to know amazing people across the world, during my time in the Dominican Republic I met personal trainer Omar Lozano. When I told Omar I was launching #FitnessFriday he was more than willing to contribute with his favourite healthy snack choice.
Peanut butter and banana roll-ups:
What you need:
A flour tortilla
peanut butter (the kind of your choice)
a banana
A combination of peanut butter and banana is a great way to a healthy snack when you are in a rush.
Spread 1-2 tablespoons of natural peanut butter over a soft tortilla. Slice a banana. Cut into smaller pieces and store it in a bag to go.
This snack contains a great source of healthy carbs and fats. Take into consideration drinking a protein shake with it because of its low protein content.
