Another magical year at Atomic Lollipop has passed and boy am I sad it’s over. Cosplayers, DJs, artists, vendors, and geeks galore took over the Ontario Science Center in Toronto this past weekend.
Night one included a glitter ball fake prom, Disney drag show, a nerf gun battle, and a lipsync competition that a certain blonde blogger entered and rightfully won with Aqua’s “Barbie Girl”. The cosplay was in full swing too! I saw Dragon Ball characters hanging out with Poison Ivy, Snow White with Jesse Pinkman. After a selfie photoshoot, an afterparty, some pizza and sleep I was all ready for day 2! I got my Supernatural’s “Castiel” cosplay on and headed out to make some plushie poptarts, pet some baby animals, and catch a bounce of two in the bouncy castle!
Saturday night was the night most apopers were awaiting. With Wooden Wisdom, and Prozzak flooding the dance floor.

DJ Dynamic opened for Elijah Wood and Wooden Wisdom with some raver favourites.
Following a very hipstery set by Wooden Wisdom, Toronto’s own Dj Flyboy opened up, and played with Prozzak for their reunion show. “Simon and Milo” wowed the at capacity Science Center with hits “Sucks to be You” , “www.nevergetoveryou” and tracks from their hit album “Hot Show”.  I fangirled a little too much, and danced the ENTIRE time.

Sunday was all about checking out all the vendors such as Kigurumi Canada, and pretty much every plushie in the entire world.  I’m certain next year will be bigger, better, and all around geekier. Next con: Fan Expo Canada, see y’all there.
