ARTIST OF THE WEEK: rapper chynna

In pretty much any industry its hard to be a woman, the rap game is no different. This week’s artist of the week is a Philly woman worthy of recognition, meet: Chynna Rogers.

Born in Philadelphia in ’94, Rogers grew up listening to, and being inspired by Tupac, and Big Pun; she has quickly made a name for herself in rap music.

Recently being named as A$AP Mob’s First Lady Chynna has released tracks such as ‘Glen CoCo’, and ‘Selfie’ since 2014. I also may have a slight obsession with her mixtape “I’m Not Here This Isn’t Happening”, y’all should too.

Along with music, Rogers is also a model signed with Ford Models in the U.S.
featured in runway shows, and photography features. She recently has been working on a lot of stuff with the famous D.K.N.Y., and on new music.
I think we expect great things from her in the near future.
