Bachelor Season 28’s Madina Alam found herself in the whirlwind drama involving Sydney Gordon and Maria Georgas. Reflecting on the heated exchange, Madina expressed regret for labeling Maria as a “bully.” The 31-year-old contestant initially voiced concerns about her age amongst the other women, prompting Maria to encourage her beauty regardless of age. However, Sydney misunderstood Maria’s intentions, leading to a misunderstanding. Despite not directly naming Maria as the source of her discomfort to leading man Joey Graziadei, Sydney clarified the situation, revealing Maria’s involvement.

Taking to Instagram, Madina addressed the feud between Sydney and Maria with a reflective caption: “Life’s a little short to be comin’ for ppl based off what you saw of them on a reality show, no? Spread love.”

In her Instagram reel, Madina boldly stated, “Alright, I’m gonna make this short and sweet. Do I regret using the word ‘bully’? Yes. Will I always use the right words at the right times, especially when I’m feeling a lot of different emotions? Absolutely not. But one thing I will never, ever regret, even if it gives me backlash, is opening up and being vulnerable.”

Other Bachelor alumni chimed in as well, The Bachelor season 27 star Christina Mandrell, who was painted as a villain that season, wrote, “Love this.” Instagram user @reparovita wrote, “I mean it was all Sydney who blew things out of proportion. You and Maria handled it maturely.” Instagram user @evettchiu wrote, “I love you. Don’t let these haters get to you, because the truth is, THEY’RE the really insecure ones.”

The Bachelor season 28 airs Mondays at 8 p.m. EST on ABC
