In the riveting investigative documentary “Quiet on Set: The Dark Side Of Kids TV,” produced by Vulture, viewers are taken on a deep dive into the unsettling allegations surrounding the acclaimed Nickelodeon producer, Dan Schneider and Brian Peck. The documentary meticulously examines the disturbing claims of assault and misconduct that have long swirled around Schneider, shedding light on a pervasive culture of abuse that allegedly existed behind the scenes of some of Nickelodeon’s most beloved shows.

Through a combination of in-depth interviews, archival footage, and firsthand accounts from former child actors who worked under Schneider’s direction, “Quiet on Set” paints a comprehensive and chilling picture of the alleged abuses that took place within the confines of the Nickelodeon studios. From accounts of manipulation and exploitation to outright instances of assault, the documentary exposes the dark underbelly of the entertainment industry, particularly within the realm of children’s television.

Actor Drake Bell shared his story and sexual abuse from Brian Peck and the trauma it caused. He also went on to talk about his mother being aware of what was going on and his father trying to stop it. Zoey 101 actor Alexa Nikolas has spent much of her adult life shining a light on the abuse and misconduct she and many other child actors experienced.

Brian Peck was charged for a lewd act upon a child; sodomy of a person under 16; attempted sodomy of a person under 16; sexual penetration by a foreign object; four counts of oral copulation of a person under 16; oral copulation by anesthesia or controlled substance; sending harmful matter; and using a minor for sex.
And was still hired by Disney, despite this, to be on set for The Suite Life Of Zack & Cody, and had letters of support for him written by Boy Meets World stars Ryder Strong, and Will Friedle.

NOT TO MENTION, Peck had a penpal, who you may know…John Wayne Gacy (sex offender & serial killer).

Schneider has maintained a creepy presence on set, is rumored to be ‘The Creator’ mentioned in iCarly and Sam & Cat star Jeanette McCurdy’s book ‘I’m Glad My Mom Died‘, stating forced her to drink alcohol when she was underage and gave her massages. While Victorious actor Avan Jogia said he didn’t remember a single plot line to the show because the cast partied every night.
While Amanda Bynes has been begging the public to realize all of the pain she was put through working under a man she trusted (Schneider).

As fellow survivors bravely step forward to share their stories, “Quiet on Set” serves as a powerful testament to the resilience of those who have been impacted by both Peck and Schneider’s alleged actions. It prompts a critical examination of the systemic failures that allowed such misconduct to persist unchecked for years, raising important questions about accountability, transparency, and the protection of young talent within the entertainment industry. In my own terms, these two are f*cking creeps and I’m betting they aren’t the only two.

In the wake of the documentary’s release, there has been a renewed call for greater scrutiny and accountability within the entertainment industry, as well as a push for systemic change to prevent similar abuses from occurring in the future. “Quiet on Set” stands as a poignant reminder of the importance of listening to survivors, amplifying their voices, and holding those in positions of power accountable for their actions.
