Let me preface this by saying how happy I am that it was not rigged for Joey Essex to win.

Anyway, if you know me you know that I religiously watch Love Island UK, but this season..a SUMMER SEASON…wasn’t giving as much as Love Island USA. That does not mean I wasn’t watching.

Going into the finale, there were four couples left in the villa all vying to win the public vote and be crowned the winners of “Love Island.” They are:

Ultimately, the public voted for their winners…





Mimii Ngulube and Josh Oyinsan took home the 50K prize (the real prize, not Jess).
The couple made history as the first Black couple to win the series. A huge congrats to Mimii and Josh for their historic win!

And so ends our Summer of Love Island and we may now resume BRAT Summer.
