Well..at least Maya Jama is back…

I was still buzzing from the high of Love Island US season 6 when I heard that All Stars would return again, so my hopes were too high. We do have some heavy hitters thankfully, because I’m happy to see Catherine and Gabby get another shot at love. Am I thrilled to see Curtis, Olivia, and Luca back on my screen? Not entirely. But I’m a hater at my core so thats that. Lets hope the bombshells are bombshelling.

Lets take a peek at the cast, keeping in mind that THE EKIN-SU will be our first female bombshell, and Casey (Lord Farquad to some) will make his return as the male bombshell.

Scott Thomas (Season 2)

Scott Thomas, an OG from Love Island Season 2, is stepping back into the spotlight for Love Island All Stars. You might remember Scott for his whirlwind time in the villa, where he initially connected with Zara Holland before his fiery on-again, off-again relationship with Kady McDermott. The duo ultimately finished in third place and even moved in together, but they called it quits in 2017.

Now the CEO of public relations agency The Social PR and host of the podcast Learning As I Go, Scott has done some serious self-work since his first stint. In a TikTok video ahead of the season, he revealed that his return is all about showcasing his growth.

“I’ve been on a crazy journey over the last few years of sobriety, self-development,” he said. “When I was on there all those years ago, I was 27, but I was still very much a little boy and I didn’t really know myself and I didn’t really know how to handle situations and everything else.”

“I’m hoping this time round I get to go on and put my best foot forward and show the world the new Scott,” Thomas continued before adding that he felt “ready to let someone in.”

Marcel Somerville (Season 3)

Marcel Somerville, who charmed us in Love Island Season 3, is back for round two. During his original run, Marcel made it to the finale with Gabby Allen, but their romance ended after nearly a year amidst some serious drama.

Since leaving the villa, Marcel has kept busy with a self-help book (Dr. Marcel’s Little Book of Big Love), DJ gigs, and reality TV cameos (The Challenge UK and Celebrity Ghost Hunt, anyone?). He married Rebecca Vieira in 2021, but their relationship recently ended, prompting his return to find love.

“Every time my life’s at a crossroads, Love Island pops up,” Marcel said. “So I thought, why not? This time, I might just take it slower.”

Gabby Allen (Season 3)

Gabby Allen, also from Season 3, is bringing her fitness energy and no-nonsense vibe back to the villa. Despite the ups and downs with Marcel during and after the show, Gabby is ready to give love another go.

“It’s been eight years, and I’ve grown so much,” she said. “I now run businesses and have my life together, but I still haven’t found ‘the one.’”

Outside of the villa, Gabby has made a name for herself as a fitness instructor and the host of What the Health, a podcast blending wellness and lifestyle. Gabby also appeared on MTV’s The Challenge Double Agents, and Celebrity Big Brother.

Kaz Crossley (Season 4)

Kaz Crossley, Season 4 bombshell and Muay Thai advocate, is returning to Love Island. After placing third with Josh Denzel and parting ways shortly after, Kaz has spent her time building Combat Collective and empowering women through martial arts.

“I’ve learned not to settle for less than I deserve,” she said. “I’m more mature now and ready to find a real relationship.” Kaz competed on The Challenge: UK, and The Challenge Wold Championships (she won).

Curtis Pritchard (Season 5)

Ballroom dancer Curtis Pritchard brought flair to Season 5, where he navigated relationships with Amy Hart and Maura Higgins. Post-villa, Curtis explored spin-offs like Love Island Games, and The Challenge UK and expanded into business ventures like Bros Torque Supercars.

“I’m taking settling down seriously now,” Curtis shared. “I haven’t found true love, but I’m ready to give it another go.”

India Reynolds (Season 5)

India Reynolds, the vegan chef and model from Reading, England, is ready for round two. After finishing third with Ovie Soko in Season 5, India has focused on building her food-focused Instagram brand, “Vegan Recipes from Reyn.”

“I’ve been single for two and a half years,” she shared. “I’m more confident now, and I’m ready to meet someone who aligns with me.”

Elma Pazar (Season 5)

Essex girl Elma Pazar is heading back to the villa after a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it appearance in Season 5, where she was dumped just six days in.

“This time, I’m here to give it a proper go,” Elma said. “I’ve grown so much and am ready to show my true, authentic self.”

Since leaving the Villa, Pazar has been a familiar face on ITV2 reality show The Only Way Is Essex.

Nas Majeed (Season 6)

Nas Majeed, the beloved underdog of Season 6, is returning for another shot at romance. Though his post-villa relationship with Eve Zapico lasted four years, he’s single again and ready to settle down.

“I’ve grown so much since my first time on the show,” Nas said. “I’m at a stage where I want to do cute, wholesome things with someone who makes me laugh.”

As a presenter, he has been busy hosting events and attending premieres since his last time on the season.

Luca Bish (Season 8)

Brighton fishmonger Luca Bish is back after finishing as runner-up with Gemma Owen in Season 8. Though their relationship didn’t last, Luca has been busy refining his skills as a chef, even finishing as runner-up on Celebrity MasterChef.

“I’ve matured a lot since my first time on the show,” Luca said. “I’m ready to give love another try and see what’s out there.”

Following his time on Love Island, the Brighton, England Islander competed on Celebrity MasterChef in 2023, finishing as runner-up, per BBC.

Olivia Hawkins (Season 9)

Yes, Olivia is back.

Catherine Agbaje (Season 10)

Dublin native Catherine Agbaje, who had a memorable Season 10, is returning to the villa for another shot at love.

“I believe in the process,” Catherine said. “It’s worked before, and I want to rely on my gut and just be me.”

Before entering the Villa, the Dublin native worked as a real estate agent.

I am still a delulu Scathy fan.

Ronnie Vint (Season 11)

Ronnie Vint, fresh off the most recent season, is ready to try again after navigating a love triangle in Season 11. I imagine there will be loads of comments about his hair again.

“I’ve grown up a lot since leaving the villa,” Ronnie said. “This time, I’m hoping for less drama and more love.”

As for his life off-screen, Vint is from London and is a semi-professional soccer player. Rumour has it that Harriet will be making a return this series too.
