#MusicMonday: Artist(s) of the week Lolawolf

Artist(s) of the week: LolaWolf

Electro-pop is a guilty pleasure of mine, and I feel like it is of most people tbh. This week’s #MusicMonday feature artist/group is Zoë Kravitz’ band Lolawolf.

Comprising of Kravitz, Jimmy, and James Lolawolf brings a fun, and grimey sound to the electro-pop world. With Lenny Kravitz as a father, and Lisa Bonet as a mother there is no surprise that 26 year of Zoë found her own sound with undeniable talent.
Lolawolf has an early 2000’s Yeah Yeah Yeahs feel (circa Fever to Tell) to their sound. The band has made their way into top music media as Rolling Stone magazine, and is a constant feature in Nylon Magazine.
The band’s latest video feature’s Miley Cyrus, but this isn’t the first celebrity sighting for a Lolawolf video. Back in 2014 A$Ap Rocky appeared in a video for the group. The group mesmerizes your ears, and eyes with their cinematic-art videos.

You can also catch ZK in the new Mad Max: Fury Road film dropping in theaters this Friday:
