The title may be a little off putting, but infused water is my go to. While many juices contain far too much sugar, infused water is a much healthier alternative. Instead of providing you with a basic “strawberry-lemon” idea for your infused water I wanted to choose something a little different.
So why this combination? Cucumbers help to reduce bloating and are a great source of water. Jalapeños aide in increasing your internal temperature, and metabolism. Mint, which is a key ingredient in a number of my favourite beverages, and my own daily infused water regiment assists in digestion. I found this recipe on infusedwater.com
What you need:
(makes 32 oz ball jar)
- 3″ of cucumber (English or regular), sliced
- 1/2 jalapeño pepper, de-seeded
- 1 sprig of organic mint leaves
