RIP Vine: Does Anyone Really Care?

I’ve been saying that Vine is dead for well over a year, the social media platform that created a plethora of comedy careers for users of the app that allowed you to post up to 6 second videos is taking over Twitter with the #RIPVine tag today.

Twitter, which bought out Vine, announced it is discontinuing the app earlier today.
But how torn up about the loss are you, I care very little about it. I think the only people who will be upset are the companies who utilize famous Viners for ads, and promotion.

Vine introduced us to King Bach (Host of Punk’d), Jus Reign (Much Creator), and brought Josh Peck (Drake and Josh, Grandfathered, The Mindy Project) back into our lives/hearts.

Ultimately Instagram, and Snaphat took over the video game within social media. We will all survive without Vine.
