With all my talk of dragons this week to go with the Heavy Meta art car I wanted to make this all new #FF post related..somehow so I found this recipe from Sober Julie!
Foodfacts states that dragon fruits have a surprising number of phytonutrients. Rich in antioxidants, they contain vitamin C (equivalent to 10 percent of the daily value), polyunsaturated (good) fatty acids, and several B vitamins for carbohydrate metabolism, as well as carotene and protein.
What you need:
- 1 large Dragon Fruit, peeled and cut up (keep slices aside for garnish)
- 5 large Strawberries cut up (approx 1 cup)
- 1 Banana cut up.
- 3/4 cup plain Greek yogurt (or flavoured if you prefer)
- 1 Table spoon honey (more if you prefer sweeter)
- 1/2 cup of crushed ice.
Directions:
Blend, pour in a glass, and garnish with dragon fruit
