At just 16 this week’s feature is already a star on one of the most successful teen dramas of all time. You know him as Baaz on Degrassi: Next Class, but I got to know Amir Bageria and chatted about fitness, played a few rounds of Hug, Marry, Kill, and obviously we gossip about Degrassi in this all new #TMITuesday.
I still go to the gym, and I still play hockey. I go to improv class on Sundays, and I try to work with my acting coach on a bi weekly basis on whatever day I can schedule a session. I try my best to see my friends as much as possible as well. I value my friends a lot, and my days are always brighter when I see them.
3. Baaz hasn’t really been too lucky in the ladies department, are there any current female characters (or male even) that you think would be well suited for your character?
I’d love to see Baaz and Frankie together. I think they’d be a funny match with how dramatic Frankie is, and how tunnel visioned Baaz is. A lot of solid comedic moments could come out of that relationship, and I think it’d help both characters grow. Plus, I love working with Sara and she’s pretty. Don’t tell her I said that though.

If I could play any other character on any other show I’d play Jugghead Jones on Riverdale. There’s something about him that truly intrigues me. I like the complexity, and mystery, that’s attached to the character, and I think there’s a lot I could explore there.
8. Since today is #TMITuesday can you tell the readers something about you that they may not already know? Something that may surprise fans to read?
Something readers may not know about me is how much I love fitness. I love eating healthy and being active. I spend a lot my free time researching the diets, and fitness routines of athletes and celebrities, and new innovative ways to be healthy. It’s something I take extremely seriously, and something I enjoy learning about.
I try to maintain the mental state that’s required for an authentic performance. If it’s more of a lighthearted scene I’ll often be walking around conversing with the cast and crew. Oh, and I’ll almost always be snacking, just ask Jamie about that. 
However, first and foremost, I want to continue acting, and I want to do so with as much passion as I can project. I want to go to Los Angles one day, and I want to turn my dreams into a reality. Right now, I hope to focus on what’s truly important to me, and just enjoy being sixteen. Other than that, I don’t know.
